BIG THINGS FROM SMALL PARTICLES
Founded in 2003, Landa Labs serves as the science innovation and incubation platform of the Landa Group. Landa Labs develops nano-materials - as well as the hardware systems for deploying them - for disrupting major industries. Landa Labs’ target markets include food tech, pharma, beauty care, solar energy, digital printing, printed electronics and more.
Each of Landa Group’s seven spinout businesses – which represent an aggregate value of several billion dollars - began life as a Landa Labs research project. Landa Labs conceives, incubates and develops each technology. Then, once performance has been validated as having the potential to disrupt its target market, the technology is spun out as a separate business.
Landa Labs attributes its successes primarily to three factors: first, to its top-tier talented workforce – mostly scientists and engineers – who are motivated not only by personal ambition but by their love of science and their desire to leave a mark on the world; second, to its culture of “painful persistence”, without which its typically-decade-long deep-technology developments could not succeed; and thirdly, to its philosophy of rewarding failure, enabling its researchers to fearlessly strive for the impossible. That combination of company values - working for a higher purpose, never giving up, and pursuing seemingly-unattainable goals – is the foundation on which the Company was built.
